Forgotten Fruits Nursery specialises in apples, peaches, plums, pears, nectarines, apricots & almonds.
We focus on growing hardy heirloom fruit tree varieties that suit the warmer Northland climates but will also adapt well to most other New Zealand regions and climates.
We grow and raise our stock at our nursery situated on the ‘Tara’, a rich pocket of volcanic soil at the foot of the Brynderwyn Hills situated between Kaiwaka & Mangawhai, Northland. We use a variety of techniques including budding, grafting and seed raising depending on variety and stock.
While we are 100% organic, we do not hold our organic certification per se. Organic processes and growing practices are at the core of our values here at Forgotten Fruits, and our beautiful nursery void of sprays, is our happy place.
