QUALITY ASSURANCE – We are a small family business who work hard to grow and supply a top quality product with emphasis on growing trees with vigorous strong tops balanced with a well developed root system. We wrap our trees and cover the roots with a moist medium which is a proven method that ensures the quality throughout the transfer.

When you receive our trees we recommend that you plant them as soon as possible. If this cannot be achieved, place them in a bed of soil or sawdust to keep the roots moist until you are ready to plant. These trees have been grown in the open ground, then lifted, graded and handled with care.

The necessary pruning for the first year will have been carried out by Forgotten Fruits before sending you your trees, so there will be no need for further pruning until the following year.

PAYMENT – All prices in this catalogue exclude GST. Full payment is required within 8 days following invoice date. We accept cheques made out to Forgotten Fruits or you can direct debit your payment to Forgotten Fruits bank account :

Please use your full name shown on your order form as a reference. I would also appreciate an email to advise payment has been made, thank you. Interest will be charged on all overdue accounts 1.5% per month.

Ownership of goods supplied shall not pass to the buyer until Forgotten Fruits has received payment in full.
The purchaser will pay all collection costs incurred by the company in respect of repossession costs.

CLAIMS – Claims regarding any incorrect counts or breakage will be considered only if the claim is made within seven (7) days of delivery of stock or acceptance thereof. Claims regarding mortality must be received by the 1st December following the date of delivery. We shall in no case be liable for any sum greater than the amount originally received for paid Nursery Stock.

DISPATCH – Dispatch will take place when the trees are dormant in winter (July / August). The trees can either be collected from me by prior arrangement or we will courier them to you. Add $5.00 per parcel for Rural Delivery addresses.

Please bear in mind that the trees are perishable and delivery to a Rural Delivery address may take 48 hours as opposed to next day delivery for urban addresses. If you do not give the correct details for an RD address the couriers will charge extra for this and we will be obliged to bill you for additional charges incurred.
Orders will NOT be dispatched without a contact phone number.

PACKING CHARGE – ALL orders will be charged a $5.00 packaging charge (at our discretion).

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment: If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
